Questions About Wedding Dress Shopping
How do I schedule a wedding dress appointment?
To schedule a wedding dress appointment, fill out the contact form on our website, call the store directly, or message us through social media. When scheduling the appointment, please let us know the date and time you prefer for the appointment, how many guests you’ll be bringing, and your wedding date.
How far in advance should I book my appointment?
We recommend booking your wedding dress appointment at least 9 or more months before your wedding date. This allows time for your wedding dress to arrive from the designer, make alterations, and you’ll have a wide selection of dresses to choose from. If your wedding is less than 9 months away, we can still accommodate a wedding dress appointment. Brides are always welcome to purchase their wedding gown off the rack.
How long do I have to try on wedding dresses?
Wedding dress appointments last 1.5 hours. This gives you enough time to try on several dresses, ask questions and discuss customization options with your bridal stylist, say yes to the dress, and celebrate!
What should I bring to my wedding dress appointment?
It's helpful to bring any inspirational photos or ideas you have for your wedding dress. Wearing nude-colored undergarments and a strapless bra will help you envision the complete look.
Can I bring guests to my wedding dress appointment?
Yes, you're welcome to bring friends or family members to share in this special moment and experience with you. We recommend keeping your group small and avoid bringing small children so all focus can be on you! Facetime is a great way to include important people who are unable to join you.
What gown sizes are available to try on during the appointment?
At Sandra D’s Bridal Boutique, we carry a wide range of sample sizes to accommodate various body types. Our stylists will assist you when trying on wedding dresses so you can visualize how the dress will look once it's fitted to you.
How much do wedding dresses cost?
All of our wedding dresses are under $2000. We carry multiple styles at different price points to fit your budget. We have a select amount of styles that start at $550, while a majority of our gowns are $1100-$1400.
Do you offer alterations?
Yes, we provide in-house alteration services for a separate fee to ensure your dress fits perfectly on your wedding day. Alteration appointments for wedding dresses begin 2 months before the wedding.

How do I schedule a tuxedo/suit rental appointment?
When scheduling a formalwear appointment, you can fill out the contact form on our website, call the store directly, or message us through social media. When scheduling the appointment, please let us know the date and time you prefer for the appointment and the wedding date.
How far in advance should I book an appointment to rent a tuxedo/suit for my wedding?
We recommend selecting your tuxedo or suit styles at least 6-9 months before your wedding. Then 2-3 months before the wedding, you can come back with your bridal party to get professionally measured for the tuxedo or suit rental. However, we understand that last-minute needs arise, and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
What is the rental cost of a tuxedo or suit?
Tuxedo and suit rentals range from $140 to $215. The groom’s tuxedo is free with five paid complete rentals.
What if my groomsmen are not from the area?
Bridal party members who do not live in the area can get measured from any location that is near them. Sizing is universal so it is not necessary that they get measured at Sandra D’s Bridal Boutique. Then, just have them call us with their sizes and we will do the rest!
What is the process for picking up and returning the rented tuxedo?
Your tuxedo or suit will arrive two to three days before the wedding. When your tuxedo or suit arrives, you can come into the boutique to try everything on to make sure everything fits correctly. Your rental then needs to be returned by the following Monday by 5pm. If items are not returned by then, late fees will incur.
